Soundslike: Beer Island
We’ve decided that July is “escape” month, so I had to start out with a post from Beer Island. It’s off the Coney Island boardwalk, and there is sand and $5 ice cold beers. I go there absolutely every chance I get. It’s universes away from the smelly hot asphalt in heat-wave-plagued NYC. At Beer Island, it’s all sea breeze and jukebox.
